When I started researching hair extensions in depth about 3 years ago I come across several horror stories about damage from extensions, but I also seen several gorgeous transformations. While I was researching this was when Habit Hair Extensions and NBR was just becoming popular in the west coast area. The instructors for those companies swore of less damage than traditional hair extensions, so I was intrigued. Fast forward three years later to where I am finally at a place in life that I can invest in my education and also have the time to do so, I thought now was the time to take the plunge. After countless hours of research and reading every article possible, I’m convinced this hair extension method will be life changing for those who love hair extensions. You can style them in any way you want without ever having to worry about them being noticeable, they have limited contact points to the natural hair meaning less damage and friction, they look perfect straight AND curled, they really are the whole package and a bag of chips!
Who is the ideal candidate for hair extensions?
-someone who wants their hair thicker and fuller
-someone who wants length added
-someone who wants a balayage/ombré, but has years worth of dark color and not willing to spend hundreds on color services/wait months
-someone who wants an instant big change-someone with a short haircut looking to have a diagonal bob or “lob”
Is there any special instructions to take care of them?
-yes, they do require special care. They’re easy to take care of, but you do have to follow a special regimen; not much different than your normal haircare plan now! You learn all about that at your consultation and during installation!
How often do I need maintenance
appointments?
-it depends on how slowly/quickly your hair grows, but most people come back around 8 weeks for a move up appointment, depending on which type of extension you do!
Do you offer a payment plan?
YES, for Hand Laced Hair Extensions! 1/2 is due at consultation to schedule your installation appointment and the remaining balance is due at installation appointment.
How long does my hair have to be to get extensions?
-if you desire long hair then the longer your hair is naturally the better!
-minimal natural length is past the occipital bone (curve of the head)
-the shorter your natural hair, the more wefts it will take meaning more work and expense!
Can the hair be reused?
-yes! All three types of extensions I offer can be reused, depending on wear and tear!
Are they human hair?
-yes, all extensions I offer are 100% human hair!
Can I wear my hair every way I do now? (i.e. braids, top knot, half up, etc)
-yes! You can wear your hair every way you do now, some methods camouflage easier than others!
Cost:
It’s hard to give a direct price without seeing the clients hair, that is why I always say schedule a consultation!
